Alex is the Head Coach and a Founder of CrossFit Chariot. He first gained his CrossFit Level 1 (CF-L1) in 2011, he has since completed his CrossFit Level 2 (CF-L2). Alex was a fireman for the Rome Fire Department for 8 years. He ran Cross-Country and Track at Armuchee High School and played rugby at Kennesaw State University. In 2018, he took home a Silver Medal for in Crossfit at the Georgia Police and Fire Games. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Anna and his two children, Samson and Sadie.
Anna graduated from Atlanta Christian College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Relations and a minor in Biblical Studies. She is wife to Alex and mommy to their two children, Samson and Sadie. She enjoys working out and coaching at Crossfit Chariot in her spare time. She also works part-time as the administrative assistant at Christian Church of Rome.
Chad is a strength and conditioning teacher and coach at Pepperell Middle School. Chad has extensive coaching experience, having worked with Football, Basketball, Baseball, Track and Cross-Country teams throughout his teaching and coaching career. He also worked as an Exercise Physiologist and group fitness instructor at Harbin Clinic. Chad has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Shorter College and a M.Ed in Physical Education from Jacksonville State University.
Coach Lee Fugelsoe graduated from Thomas Edison State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Lee has over 20 years of teaching movement in many disciplines, including swimming and martial arts (Taekwondo, Hapkido, and Small Circle JiuJitsu).
First received his CrossFit Level 1 Trainer (CF-L1) in 2013.
Coach Lee likes to sign up for unreasonably long and brutal races of any kind (kayak, running, cycling, etc).
Leigh is a Sergeant with the Rome Fire Department and holds a Bachelor’s in Agricultural Business from the University of Georgia. She enjoys helping her husband, Joe with their family cattle and poultry farm. Leigh has two daughters, Maya and Hanna and one son Luke.
